today is dawn's last day, how sad! so for the sake of taking nice pics as souvenir, we came up with a dress code: dress/skirt with heels! i wore my black killer heels today. =S but i brought my flats, just in case. and yes, i did change into them. cuz the heels were really..... !@#$%%$$&*^&^$#. poor jacq wore her ultra high/killer prom heels!!! think her feet hurt like crazy today. lol.
aniw, we took loads of nice nice and funny and retarded pics! they are all in queenie's cam though. so must wait till she uploads them, haha.
after work, jacq and i went to sign up for BTT!!! yay, i'm finally taking the first step to learning driving. but test date's all the way in june!! ... but actually it's okay lah... i dont have a car anyway, learn so fast or learn slowly also makes no difference.
after signing up, we went to town. went to max and more. we always thought the dresses inside were damn ex, but both of us got cheap deals today! yay hahaha.
jenn came to meet us, she was supposed to give us a treat. well actually she isnt really SUPPOSED to, it was just a joke cuz she won money at the mahjong session previously. but she did treat us!!! nice nice jenny. (i cant call her do***ey, it is a pact.) however, she did try to lie to us earlier that she got robbed. -.- jenny is seriously retarded sometimes. what's with coming up with all these crazy things trying to trick people! sadistic, she gets a kick out of scaring us.

yesterday i had a REALLY scary dream!!! i dreamt that i did really badly for A's!! it felt so real that i actually said "oh my god, whew." out loud when i awoke and realized it was only a dream. DAMN. results are coming out sooooon. *freaks*

the things that i thought usually mattered to me all fade away when it comes down to some people. like... some actions people do that will get me pissed usually cease to do so when it's done by certain people.
just when i thought i knew myself well enough, some people do something and i react in a totally unexpected way.
is this normal?

I AM SO DUPER TIRED.
had a little buffet gathering at liyin's place yesterday. spent only awhile outside eating before we all(liyin, zac, jenn, jacq, maf and me) went into liyin's room to start our little mahjong session. (or rather THEIR mahjong session, since all i did was to sit around and stone and help collect the chips and arrange them nicely in the drawer.)
jenn was the big winner in the end. see her sit there quiet quiet but keep zi mo hu know!! what a smart/lucky donkey. LOL.
anyway, after mahjong ended liyin, zac and maf went to sleep. jacq, jenn and me stayed outside to munch on snacks and watch tv. initially jacq wanted to take the first bus and leave so that we can go home and sleep. but the 3 of us ended up falling asleep on the sofa. =S (it was hard sharing the sofa with jenn cuz i kept accidentally kicking her while sleeping. dont know if she realized.) oh, and i had a bad dream while sleeping there too. =(( bad bad dream, but i shant write it here.
but liyin came to call us in to her room to sleep at about 7plus. so we slept.... and i woke at around 10 plus. went to make milo, eat breakfast and read newspapers with maf. went to explore around too. as if the place was ours, LOL.
then jacq and jenn finally woke. so all of us left liyin's place together.
went home, bathed and went out to meet jacq again.
walked around town. she got something and i didnt. =((

work has been pretty fun and slack these days. there were so many pics of us slacking, but most of it are pretty unglam. LOL. thus after much consideration, i decided not to post them up.
went to sim lim square today with the colleagues. jacq was planning to get a camera. but we ended up getting cheated!! damn that stupid place!!
there was this uncle who told us that we could get a SONY T-70 for 321 bucks.(other shops sell it between 450-460 bucks) but after that he kept trying to convince us that sony wasnt a good cam. he kept trying to promote some other olympus cam to us. but jacq was pretty adamant that she wanted the sony one, so the uncle had no choice but to say he'll sell it to us then.
however, he said there was no stock in the shop itself and asked us to return an hour later so that he could get it for us from the store. what a lame thing to say, but we actually believed it(okay i dont know about the others but i initially didnt even start to get suspicious about the entire episode)and walked out planning to return later. (i mean, wasnt it suspicious enough that he didnt want our contacts and just let us leave like that? what if we walked off and didnt go back for the cam? but no, i didnt think of that then. how dumb.)
we walked to another shop, however, and told the salesman there that the previous shop could sell T-70 to us at 321 bucks. but that salesman told us it was all some ploy to con us to get the lousy olympus cam, and now that we decide we dont want the olympus one, they will come up with some lousy excuse that they dont have that cam we want, because they simply wouldnt sell it to us at 321 bucks! what the!!! and they initially lied to us saying they could sell it at 321 bucks because they wanted to capture our attention and make us stay to listen to their crap about the olympus cam.
true enough, we returned to that shop and found it closing. another salesman in that shop told us "oh sorry we're closing... come back another day." they obviously didnt wanna sell it to us lah. what get from store... all the sh*t crap, all lies. nicole went on confronting the uncle, but he just said they're closing and there's nothing they could do.
MANNNN!!! what an eye-opener. although it feels infuriating getting cheated, i thought it really was a good eye-opener. now we know, such things exist in singapore, and so blatantly too! what did we look like, idiots? -.-
i think i'll pull my dad along to get my camera when it's time for me to get one.

did end up going to kbox yesterday. at night though. sang from 8pm to midnight. with maf and changtai.
almost couldnt wake in time this morning for my first day of work. luckily dad caught me snoozing and woke me up. LOL. so paiseh, because last night i told him(in this arrogant tone)that i could sing till 3am and still be alert and awake for work the next day. i only sang till midnight, and... yea.
first day of work today was SLACKKKK. i slept for an hour and played the psp for 4. =)) the rest of the time was spent reading cleo and chatting with jacq.
OHOH, i got a really pretty vday card from jacq today! lol. and she wrote a whole lot of stuff inside as well. thanks!! im touched, cuz she rarely does such stuff. (but liyin, im touched when you give me such stuff too. LOL.)

went to j8 with jenn yesterday. she heard that there was a sale at m)phosis(is that how you write it?) and wanted to go check it out. but sighs, what a disappointment, we both found nothing. walked around aimlessly in j8 for quite some time before we got into a shop and jenn saw a pair of shoes she liked. it only costs 20 bucks. hahaha. we both saw a pair of shoes we liked at charles and keith earlier, but they only had that last pair which was not our size. =(( soooo. I DIDNT GET ANYTHING. rahhh.
but it's okay. cuz i wanna save up to buy a new camera. jacq told me she wants one, and i kinda got influenced too. LOL. i dont have a decent camera lah please. my phone's one sucks. but it's going to cost alot. =((
anyway, jenn wanted to watch ps i love you. so we went to check the timings. 7.00pm and 9.30pm at cine and lido, and 8.30 at grand cathay. we therefore decided to watch the 8.30 one. when we reached grand cathay though, the tix were selling fast and there was only the first row left.
thus, we travelled to cine. after walking for eons, we reached the complex. WAHL**, the tix were ALL SOLD OUT. i was getting really impatient and irritated. but jenn said let's try lido. soooo we went.
MIRACULOUSLY, there were damn mannyyyy seats there lah. had i known earlier i would have gone there first.(wonder why lido is so ulu leh.) anyway, we quickly got tix and sat down to eat. jenn came up with funny things to make me laugh like crazy again. seriously, i think she can go be scriptwriter for the "just for laughs" series.
maf came to join us for the movie. =))
what a disappoinment though, i thought the movie was borrrinnggggg. jenn thought it was okay, and maf thought it was damn good. he said "so long nv watch such nice love movie le... i dont mind watching it again..." -.- i mean, i think such movies with v.little action and mostly only dialogues will only be good if they can really move you inside and deep within with their words. but that show didnt lah. it was super ultra boring with no touching element at all. but i wont say it sucks. "sucks" is for movies like cloverfield. -.- at least for ps i thought the cast was good.
went home after that. both maf and jenn missed their last trains. whoops. maf decided to take the bus straight from town, and jenn came down to amk with me, thinking that she could take 25 home. BUT. the last bus went off too before she reached. pooooorrr jenn. had to cab home. with that !@##$%^& fare.(with surcharge)
supposed to go kbox with jacq today! but that girl went to tong xiao mahjong last night and couldnt wake. so im homebound today. *yawnssss*

guess where i went today!! yesss, to the RSAF air show!! LOL. well it wasnt the actual one lah, it's just a preview to the actual thing. exclusive for RSAF members and... uh, whoever they want to invite. LOL. i saw loads of pilots today! (wahah)
you know, the planes are FAB. i took like, 1000 pics and videos(okay, exaggerated) but it's not allowed to be posted or something, i dont know. apparently, facebook's fine but not blogs. i dont know lah. but i dont wanna get caught or something. so... aiya, wasted. LOLOLOL. but REALLY, those planes fly like NOTHING ON EARTH. (get the joke, it's the air force slogan.)

well anyway i was there with maf. (like duh how many airforce people do i know) his friend/my senior/changtai came to join us later. they were talking about flight experiences. quite cool i thought. went to eat ajisen ramen after that. changtai said it was damn delicious. but it was actually my first time there. and true enough, the soup was yummy. heh. had a loooong chat there. changtai talks ALOTTTT. he didnt stop talking for the ENTIRE DAY today. (like.. 6 hours?) he can talk about the craziest and stupidest things. we also.. uh... chatted about odac. and wow, i didnt know he actually felt the way he felt(which is quite like the way i felt). LOL.
after that, we migrated to starbucks and started talking again. the guys started talking about those life philosophy things... and i kinda zoned out. lol.
after awhile, changtai WENT CRAZY.

WTH. i was damn er diao and pretty amused by it. so i started laughing. poor waiter didnt know what was going on. after he left, they were like "eh why you laugh! you almost gave it away.. blah blah". but like, HELLO. someone is clearing your MUCUS?? arent you supposed to feel bad and say "er i'll throw them mysef."?? OMG. GUYS.
anyway after that, i went to meet jenn for dinner. that girl is a LAUGH. we were shopping round topshop and she just managed to find funny pieces of WTH clothing which were so very discounted because they couldnt sell. it was REALLY hilarious though. that orange 881 one was the CLASSIC. gosh. from 159 bucks to 29.90. LOL. she never fails to find such stuff. (think it's fated man. she meets madmen frequently too)
oh well. all in all it was a funnnn day. haha. damn tired. shall go sleep now.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S PEOPLE!! =))
wahhh. today everywhere was filled with couples holding roses/bears/soft toys/balloons/each other's hands and wearing couple tees. LOL.
met up with daniel, sidney, kejun and chunhong. the guys who havent got enlisted and are single. LOL. had dinner and caught jumper. the movie was fab, you guys should REALLY catch it. sidney got a little affected by one lovey dovey couple in front of him though. HAHAHA.
dinner was interesting. EVERYTHING was kejun's treat. that guy just got his first pay of $1500 bucks lah. working as some supervisor at his dad's company. the usual miserly him said his budget was 70 bucks. you could practically see daniel and sidney's jaws drop.
being the greedy them, they went to order those ex stuff. LOL. like curry fish head. it was nice though. hahaha. yum yum.
and omg, daniel cant get grosser pls. he ate the ENTIRE fish skin and went to dig for the eye. the rest of us were all uber grossed out. he still asked "eh you all dont eat skin one ah?" i almost puked.
sidney got so affected he started digging in the curry for little pieces of god-knows-what and shoved it in daniel's face with a "this you eat anot?" or "you eat this right?" or "eat this lah.". LOLNESS.
oh and the guys eat ALOT. like... BOWLS?? (of rice)
aniw, i didnt have to pay for the stuff today. other that the movie tix lah. haha. the rest all they treat! =))
i sooooo miss the days of hanging out with the class back in aj lahhhh. just now sidney was like "wah. i rather play bridge with you all everyday than stay in the army lah." SIGHS. those days of bridging... crapping... sighs. and now most of the guys are enlisted already. =(

i was sleeping soundly early in the morning(well it wasnt that early, maybe around 11am) when my phone suddenly vibrated. thinking it was just some msg, i ignored it. but the vibration went on, and i realized it was a phone call. the number wasnt stored in my phone, but somehow it looked familiar. fearing, i decided to miss-call it. 3 mins later, it rang again. this time, i knew the number. yes, it was the eu yan sang office. (just knew i shouldnt have left my contact). i picked up, and it was audrey. she started telling me that she really couldnt cope, and how she would really like it if i could go back to help. actually i am free until next mon, but i told her blatantly that i wasnt free anymore. LOL. geminians lie BLATANTLY. so people, dont believe me so easily next time.
those horo videos jacq showed me were REALLY ACCURATE. even people who didnt really believe in horoscopes before started to get addicted after i showed them. (and watches those vids every night.)
but some people like jenn still doesnt really see my point. she doesnt think those things that the people say are accurate for her when even i think so. even jacq thinks the things they say abt virgos r accurate for jenn. but being jenn. tsk.
well apparently, geminians lie alot(but always gets busted), and they cant differentiate between love and friendship. they think ALOT too. reunion dinner was fun just now. the steamboat rocked. and the chilli was great, hahaha. but we didnt go to chinatown today. stayed at my grandma's place watching this stupid crazy movie that didnt make sense. =S

after work today i cleared my desk and dumped all the stuff i collected this past month into this big bin. wahhhh shiok. lol. when all those customers ask "may i know whom im speaking to?" i'll be so tempted to say "you wont be bothered to know really, cuz i wont be back once i get out of here in 15 mins time." wahah.
went to town to submit time sheet and meet jenn for dinner. this time i found my way there, but lost my way out. =S
had loads of laughs with jenn today. that woman was uber high today, cracking up at the slightest thing. like "bbbbbbbut" and "birdman". we walked around trying to find some place to eat and lost our way. ended up walking one round to the same place. -.- took almost an hour to finally settle down. LOL. she's just as lousy as i am in directions. talked about work stuff. she still has to work tml!! haha, no worries jenn, you can still msg me for entertainment.

IM FALLING ASLEEP.
been sleeping really little these few days. for work i wake up at abt 7 everyday. and the past nights i've been on the phone with him. (okay he finally made the debut in my blog lol. shall call him maf here to protect his identity. haha.) until like... 2am plus. yawns lah. then i'll take another half an hour to decide what to wear to work the next day. so i only end up with 4 hours of sleep per day. *strangles* this is why my eyes are kinda losing focus now and i need to DO SOMETHING (ie blog) to keep myself awake. if not the other alternative would be, (as i told jenn), to hide in the toilet and sleep. she said it was pathetic, so i took off that option.
okayyyy i was thinking of what to talk about. there were two choices. 1.my damn freakin annoying senior supervisor that i so far had not had the chance to talk about. or 2.why i love cny.
i decided to talk about 2. because talking about 1. needs alot of ranting strength and im seriously brain dead at the moment.
the first thing i love about cny is the reunion dinner. i love the feeling of everyone gathering tgthr and eating tgthr and sharing stories and gossips tgthr. i like looking at how my cousins have changed over the years (and sometimes secretly laugh at them). i love the steamboat my grandma makes and the super hot and nice chilli that comes along with it. and, (haha), i love the way they look at me in awe whenever my mom says "oh she's waiting to see if she can get into uni." cuz im like the first person in the entire family to walk the jc route. they always thought i was smart, LOL.
the second thing i love would be the annual chinatown trip my family would definitely make to soak up the festive mood after reunion dinner. we would squeeze with the smelly and sweaty crowd and try not to get suffocated, and of course, buy more new year goodies to store at home. there would be noise and air pollution, but i love the way everyone is happy and cheery. after that, we would go home and help my mom put money into angbaos she was planning to give to other kids. im the most enthu one in the task, not because i love putting money into angbaos, but because i get to know who gets how much. *smikrs*
the third thing i love would be the chance to dress up for chu yi. LOL. esp this year, i love my dress! even got shoes and earrings to match it. wahah. i mean, which other festival allows you to dress up nice nice? not mooncake festival, not duan we jie, and definitely not hungry ghosts. =S even xmas doesnt require dressing up. unless as santa.
the fourth thing, of course, is the amount of angbaos received!!! hahaha. who says no to money?!! though i dont have lots of relatives and they dont exactly give alot, but it's still money. haha. lovelove.
the fifth thing i love would be the good food. both my grandmas cook fabulously, and they always have delicious goodies stored at home. on the second day we would go to another uncle's house. he's a terrific cook too. haha. that's why i've been gymming everyday these days. so that i can let myself eat without feeling any guilt. haha.
and the last thing!! it's the humanity and gathering of relatives that make the season worth celebrating. =))

had a really irritating customer call just now. the woman is seriously sot. any person with a brain knows that tomorrow's new year eve already. and the letter she had obviously states that we need 3 working days to process an order counting from the day the customer calls to confirm it. any person with a brain also knows that companies dont operate during cny hols. so how on earth do you expect me to deliver your hamper to you before cny??? the way she talked sounded retarded too. she asked this same question thrice. "uh... no way can make it earlier ha.." *giggles giggles*. me: im sorry, it's not up to me to decide, the deliverymen have to take a break for cny too." "ahhh... no way can make it earlier ha.." *giggles giggles*. me: nope. "ummm... no way can make it earlier ha..." *giggles lesser this time on seeing that she wont be getting her way.* i was like. wth. she started ranting, as those typical retards do. but her ranting sounds EVEN MORE retarded. it's like "ahahaha, then how?" i said "maybe you would like to self-collect? then u'll get it before cny." she said "ahahahaha, still need to self collect ar? so lousy ah you. your company... so lousy ah.. hahahaha" and MIND YOU, her hahahas werent the joking kind. it's like you know she's pissed and actually scolding you, but i totally dont get why she must punctuate her sentences with those high pitched shrills. me: hahaha. she continued "hahahahahaha... i write down your company name... complain to honda..!" OKAY THIS IS THE PART. she practically howled in laughter. AND AND AND!!! THIS IS THE BEST PART. she asked me what company this was. !!!!!!! !!!!! !!!!! like, HELLO!!! at first i didnt even understand her question cuz it's so seriously stupid and retarded. she doesnt even know that her hamper is from eu yan sang? she doesnt know what eu yan sang is? she cant read and understand details in her letter? she blindly calls someone up and asks who the person is? mad woman. i was like... okay i said "yea whatever." LOL! it's already my last day i cant be bothered. maybe i should post her name/ address/ contact up. WAHAH.

can you believe it, tomorrow's my last day of work. omg, omg. hahaha! i'll be free. F-R-E-E!!! all those psychotic people will never ever reach me again. wahah!
i think they are all pretty afraid they wont be able to cope once im gone. NO NO, im not trying to self-praise here, but really, you have no idea how heavy the workload is. audrey asked me today if i would consider staying. i wanted to say "obviously not! cant you see i've been waiting for this day since forever!" but i only politely said "haha, i want a short break before going on my next job." all i really wanted to say, of course, was "let me off please." lol. she would be left alone to deal with the psychos though. good luck. haha. oh but before she let me go today she pestered me for my contact. i was so damn unwilling to give it. but she insisted, saying "if we have any questions we can contact you! and if you have any instructions you can leave them for me." WAHAH. told jenn it made me feel like some CEO for a moment.
today some bitch customer made some stupid complaint abt how her can of foodstuff got a tad bit of rust and how embarrassed she felt about it and BLAHHHH. it wasnt that big a deal really. but it made the entire office go into a frenzy. they even roped in the asst general manager to call EVERY SINGLE BRANCH in singapore to see if they had any completely/totally perfect can without any bit of rust on it. and when one branch finally had it, one of those seniors rushed down to get it and deliver it personally to bitch. frankly speaking, though i hate working at eys, i have to say the service there is really good. they really try their best, and of course they cant please everybody. so do support eys! hahaha.

towning with jacq again today. wanted to catch manhunt, but we reached there pretty early, so walked around first. first stop was toysrus at paragon! had damn alot of fun man. took alot of pics too!!

HAHAHAHA. so funny. they looked so bu xie tiao lah. and once they opened their mouths to answer questions it became such a disappointment. most couldnt speak sentences that make sense. one guy even started his answer with "i thinks". jacq couldnt stop laughing lah. tsk. luckily those that won in the end were still pretty okay. saw lots of irritating ppl and gays in the audience though. damn gross. we stood there not moving for 2 hours!! wahh. tired legs.
walked around a little more after the competition ended. didnt really get anything today though. =( saw a dress that was similar to the one i liked from hula & co but much more expensive lah. =(( sobs sobs. so didnt get it in the end. sighs.
SIAN!!!! tml is monday again. work day =(( though it's only 2 more days of work. cant wait for it to be O-V-E-R man. rahhhh. and tuesday is so gonna be a sad day for me. had a great day with jacq and jenn today. though we didnt get alot of things, but being out in a relaxed mood sure beats working. hahaha. my hula & co. dress disappeared though!! *looks super sad* it's gone, gone, gone. SIGHS. i finally got my pay, and it didnt wait for me. humph.
went to bugis with jacq first. damn damn crowded. we got stuck in the crowd with everybody walking towards us cuz we werent with the flow. it was SUPER scary can. we cant even move our bodies and turn. and you know, people glare at you for blocking their way and stuff. -.- left bugis asap after getting our stuff.
walked to raffles place after that, and then took train to town. jenn met us at heeren, and we proceeded to watch the manhunt competition there. hahaha. there isnt really any good looking ones. just a funny one and a damn qian bian one. when the funny one came out i couldnt stop myself and laughed a tad bit louder that i should. jenn got affected and laughed till she teared. jacq said i was damn diu lian and walked away from me. LOL. she said ppl actually turned back to stare at me. OOPS. unglam unglam. jenn was pretty pissed at the qian bian/gay one. she kept saying things like wanting to shoot rubber bands at him and stuff. lol. but he really looked pretty irksome.
WE TOOK NEOPRINTS TODAY!!!. lol, like how long was it since we last did that. used to take it everyday after sch in sec 3. haha.
had alot of fun though!! couldnt stop laughing. there was one pic with jenn acting demure and one with me looking spastic cuz i couldnt stop laughing. didnt choose those obviously. hahaha. but it was really fun re-living the neoprint days lol. lovelovelovelovelove my lovelies!!
aniw today jacq and i came up with some theory. we both realized that our ability to remember things is fading!!! like we used to be able to rmb things easily once we study them back in o lvl days. but we both found studying for a's damn tough, like u keep forgetting what u studied. that's why guys always do better when they reach the a lvl age. plus, i also realized my memory is really deteriorating. last time when ppl rattle off their phone numbers/ addresses damn fast i can usually get it on the first time. but these days at work i have to ask ppl to repeat what they said again!!! *shocks* we both theorized that WE HAVE AGED. omg i feel so old suddenly. that's why!!! that's why i really dont feel like living past 65 yrs old. =(( i dont wanna be some old dud that my grandchildren laugh at, saying "wai po is so stupid she cant even rmb the things i said to her!" rah. -.-
