i feel like blogging, but i have nothing to blog about. =S
this week is a boring week. it's the last week at work! everybody's in slack mode. tomorrow's the last day at work!! i'm so excited. and no, there isnt the slightest bit of nostalgia.
went to the food fair at expo on tuesday. there were loads of people, damn crowded. but there was alot of food as well. yum yum. lol. some uncles and aunties make it super obvious that they are there for only the food samples. they are really recognizable. they usually appear in packs, and carry no bags in their hands at all. they dont ask questions; they just work meticulously down the row trying each and every flavour of whatever product they're sampling. they hog the entire aisle, and say "tsk" when you reach across them to get the attention of the person behind the counter. most of them, especially the uncles, smell like they havent bathed for 4 years.
anyway, forget the food fair.

i wanna catch chronicles of narnia: prince caspian!!!!!!!!! i'm waiting for maf to come back and watch it with me. yesssss he's coming back in exactly a week!! =))

went to some seminar talk with my mom and dad today. something about snoring. lol. yea i was just too bored. anyway i decided to go to the toilet after the talk and while i was on my way there i saw this auntie coming out of the toilet and heading in some weird direction that leads to a dead-end. she continued walking(cuz she was busy digging around in her bag) and didnt realize she was walking into a corner until she reached the wall. i was just staring at her. then she turned and saw me. she was like, looking really paiseh, as if thinking i must be laughing at her. then she mumbled something like "ah-hah-ha, wrong way." and quickly walked off. i was like, that's so like what happens to me all the time, -.- -.- LOL.
anyway after the talk, jenny messaged, at a really good timing i must say. lol. she was at town too. so we met up and just bummed around. we walked quite alot. wanted to watch a movie at first, but then there werent any timings. so we proceeded to nydc for dinner. some kuku waiter spilled water on me. bahhh.
well after dinner we went to times bookshop. saw some funny woman singing in the shopping complex. lol. jenny and i managed to find some real hilarious books, as usual. there were the crappy joke books, the, *ahem*, really hilarious barney book, and the "where's wally" book. LOLNESS. anyway there were also other really seemingly nice books there i was so tempted to buy. sighs. but there were so many i couldnt make up my mind what to get, so i didnt get any in the end.
anyway, i'm really looking forward to next week. it's the last week at work!! =D

thursday: went to catch the bball finals between aj and hwa chong at toa payoh sports hall. hwa chong won, not surprisingly, but i must say aj put up a great fight! it was a great game, =) cheers for aj!
today: caught ironman with jacq today. it was a coolios movie! with all the cool gadgets and stuff. =D
i realize these 2 days jacq and i settled our dinner with pasar malam food. there are many pasar malams around these days, selling the same types of food. lol.
i'm getting a little hungry now. =(

had a lovely catch up with huimin huiyi and maggie today!! lol. huiyi had gotten herself new earholes! like finally. lol. she put on braces too, hahaha. we talked about loads of stuff, like university admission. huiyi's going to be doing physics, purely physics, can you imagine?!! *faints* lol. like maggie says, it's out of my league, seriously. they also dug out and mimicked all the retarded things i used to do, like sleeping in lectures/classes and giving the uber retarded expression whenever i get caught. gahh. i realize people are always associating me with, ahem, retarded stuff. but anyway, a catch up isnt a catch up if we didnt talk about past things, right? lol.
we caught made of honour too!! i totally loved it. i've been meaning to catch it since i saw its trailer the other time. although some people said it was boring/not nice i still wanted to catch it cuz the plot just seems like something i'll fall for, which i did! hahaha. i even teared at a few parts. i'm getting more and more emotional these days, yikes. and patrick dempsey is just hotttt. the other guy, dont know what's his name but it's colin in the show, is like some..... blah. cant find the word, but he's just the i-so-feel-like-slapping-him-hard-in-the-face-cuz-he-cant-even-talk-properly kind of guy. urk.
anyway it was a great outing, i missed the girls! =)
been reading this horoscope book these days. certain parts i read were just so accurate!! i'd wanted to write those interesting parts down on the blog, but maybe some other day. too lazy to do it today, hahaha.
work again tomorrow, sighs. i'm so waiting for something exciting to happen, life is so bland these days. =S

caught What Happens in Vegas with jenn and jacq today. it's really funny!! jacq and i laughed like crazy again. jenn didnt, cuz she was trying hard to contain her bladder while in the cinema, LOL.
we went to pizza hut for dinner, damnnnnn full. *burps*
i dyed my hair!! using the DIY thingy. got my sis to help me, lol. the colour change isnt very obvious though. but at least it doesnt make my hair stink afterwards.
siannnnn. back to work again tomorrow, SIGHSSSS.

MUAHAHAHAHA. today is a great day! simply because i got to wake up at 1pm!! lol. it's been really long since i got the chance to sleep in this late. the feeling is just great. *dances around*
shall blog about yesterday, lol. went to the theory part of the camp facilitator course. it was pretty fun, until the last part where they had the first aid lecture and i was seriously drifting off already. we played some games, and there was this game, handiplast, that was seriously sadistic. i shant go into details how it's played, but it just involves whacking. the guy on my left... (his name is dexter i think), whacked me damnnnnn hard!! the bruise is still there on my leg, just goes to show what i suffered. the one who got whacked wasnt supposed to make a sound, and at the last whack on me everyone was looking at me seeing if i would let out any sound uncontrollably. luckily my pain tolerance is high enough, cuz i didnt wanna lose! lol.
some of them went for the cemetery night hike organized by SP after the training, but i was too tired. i needed my sleeeeeeep, and night hikes just remind me of those odac days. *shudders* lol. (disclaimer: i'm not saying odac gives me shudders, it's just the horrible night hikes.)
anyway, i got the nus acceptance letter into business as well! it's not very probable i'll go there, but still, it's a good thing! =D nus is damn ma fan. even accepting the course requires you to submit like 1000 forms. bahh. they also dont sound very friendly in the letter. should i go for their hi-tea next week?? *ponders*
but i must qiang diao again my devotion to ntu! lol. i hope queenie jenn and jacq all get into ntu with me!! keke. (to liyin: i'd have loved to be in the same school as you too, but you're most probably going nus already eh. but no worries, it's still much better than having you go overseas!) plus, if i go ntu then maf and i will be in the same school together too! =D
speaking of maf, he's coming back in 18 days!! fast right. time flies! i cant wait, LOL. then we can go to the zoo and many other random/unheard of places together.

i ran 15 rounds round the track today!!! cant believe i managed that, wahah. it's about 6km leh! after the run angie queenie jacq and me proceeded to the fitness corner to do sit-ups. lol. the planks were all so steep! we looked kinda retarded trying not to slide off.
was looking through my old things today. found funny things in my old piles of worksheets! my sis dug them out so she could practise those papers i used to practise with, all those years ago.(sighs) anyway i found this printed set of "how to annoy people in an elevator". LOLNESS. i vaguely remember jenny and i were laughing at it and amusing ourselves in the midst of tedious o'level preparations.(to jenny: do you REMEMBER??? LOL.) it's really hilarious.
anyway i also found old pieces of things i dont remember writing. lol. it's really hilarious, and sounds seriously immature. it's pretty entertaining though. i'd better get rid of them before anyone else sees them. LOL.
yawns. i hope my legs dont ache tomorrow!

today i ran for the longest distance i ever ran in my entire life!! muahahaha. went jogging with angie and queenie after work.(jacq didnt join us cuz of her swollen toe) we ran 12 rounds!! that's a total of 4.8km!! applaud me! =D hahaha. and it's 12 rounds round the outermost lanes okie. *looks smug*
work is a bitch these days. i hate doing all those stupid meaningless tasks. when will life EVER be filled with meaning and purpose again???
okay that was exaggerated.
angie says next time we should try 15 rounds, and then maybe keep increasing the distance we run every time.

anyway, jacq and i went for the camp facilitator training thing yesterday! it was at sentosa. haha. played alot of games! there was this game where we had to play with flour. jacq got herself a whole faceful of it. lol. damn funny.(oops)
i almost drowned though! they made us form a circle and then wade deeper and deeper into the sea. i dont know what happened after they called for us to go back, think everybody just kinda let go and someone pushed my head underwater lah. $%@*(%$#% both jacq and i drank lots of salt water. eeeyyuccck.
other than that it was a pretty fun day. the people there are all pretty nice and some are really funny. lol. next week we are going for the theory part of the course. then we can be certified facilitators! =D
mother's day today!! mom loved the present we gave her! haha, no surprise, since i was the one who picked it. went to get the present with jacq. we both got liz claiborne stuff. jacq got a wallet and i got a handbag. haha. my mom got a little carried away in her excitement though. she was saying how we'd get her louis vuitton stuff next time. lol.
anyway, maf said he felt bad he couldnt spend mother's day with his mom or get her anything. being the nice me, i agreed to help him get a present and deliver it to his mom. so nice right. it's to and fro bukit batok! lol.
well anyway, HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!! =D

queenie brought back loads of snacks from her trip to taiwan to the office today!! i binged like a pig, ate 5 packets of those noodle like tidbits. (think mamee).
it wasnt as big as a mamee packet, but the calories it contained was gahhh. eating 5 packets means eating 300+ calories. whooooops, i know.
and, after a gymming session, i realized that after slogging on the treadmill for 30 mins, sweating like a pig and panting away, i only managed to get rid of about a third of those calories. gahhhhh, i know.
i guess calories have got to be the easiest thing to get in your body, and the hardest to get out.
i've so gotta think twice(make that thrice) before popping in those snacks now.

today is fbt shorts/bball shorts day for me and jacq! she didnt wanna stay at home, so we thought of catching a movie at amk hub nearby. think the last time we went for such a casual outing in such casual attire was... sec 3? it's really relaxing to wear such comfy attire and go out though, LOL.
anyway we caught Over Her Dead Body. damnnnnn funny lah. we laughed till we rolled around in our seats. and eva longoria is really pretty, hahaha. go catch it!!
short post for the day, hahaha.

gee. just to clarify what i've written in my previous post:
1. it's not specifically meant to point out/talk about a particular person or a particular event. it's just in general.
2. and it definitely does not apply to my bestest buds, people closest to me, whom i'll trust with my last cent to plan the hugest surprise in my life for me, if they want to.
yep.
anyway. i just spent 200 bucks today!! signed up for classes at studio wu. *clutches at the gaping hole in my pocket*
but class was fun! though i was such a huge noob slowing down everybody's progress. =( i realize the last time we went for classes was in january last year. (repeat again how A'levels robbed me of life.) but really, it's enjoyable. =D
i'm aching a little already though. i'm so morphing into an ah mah. die. shall go sleep already. goodnight world! =))

i realize i'm a very insecure person.
well, for one, i hate surprises. they could have been planned on my behalf; planned to make me happy, but i'll still feel a tad bit apprehensive when i find out about it, reason being i hate being kept in the dark.
it could be a well-meaning thought. but it irks me to see people whispering and giggling about something and when i ask them what they're talking about, they say "we cant tell yet! it's a surprise!" -.- usually i will laugh and say "oh alright then." but actually, i'm feeling really irritated at being treated like a goon. (see, insecurity)
for two, i hate it when people talk about me behind my back. okay, i know everyone hates this, but in my case, it might not exactly be talking behind my back, maybe just talking about me without my knowledge. it may not be a bitch session about me, in fact, they may actually be saying something nice about me. but honestly, it makes no difference to me.
for example. person A: oh the other day person B and i were talking about you! me: *feeling dubious* oh really? what about? person A: nothing really, she just mentioned she thought you were quite cute. me: oh. person A: happy right?? people say you cute.... me: *wants very much to say "honestly, i dont give a damn. why the hell do you two talk about me anyway??!* *but actually says "hahaha, yeah. tell her i think she's cute too."

i dont know why i feel this way. is it normal? im just really scared that something will go wrong, or there's something i dont know about. like if there is a surprise, i'll think "what exactly are they planning? are they going to EMBARRASS ME?? are they gonna throw me in a pool?? WHATTTT???". or if there were people talking about me, i'd think "maybe she said something else about me too??? like she thinks i'm cute, but also a little stupid??? WHATTTT???".
(err. disclaimer: i'm not actually saying i think people would say im cute. im just using an example.)
so. to anyone who comes up to me and says "wow! you must be really happy, having your friends plan such a SURPRISE party for you!" or "wow! you must be secretly happy that so-and-so TOLD ANOTHER SO-AND-SO that she thought you were cute!".....
