i have FINALLY finished uploading all those taiwan pics we took on facebook.

okay, technically, not ALL, cuz we took like 5 million pics, and i only used 4 albums. i kinda just picked. like if there were 5 pics taken at the same setting i'll choose the nicest one to post and all. and there are some that are unglam-ly private, for our own laughter/entertainment only. LOL.

anyhow, it's not like people REALLY have the interest to view every single one of our pics. those that have the interest are probably those that really know us, and people who really know us obviously can get their hands on all the pics anytime if they just ask.

right?

LOL. and NO, im not posting them on my blog. it's gonna be SUCH a killer, especially with my slowpoke laptop's speed. (or lack of speed, rather)

but there's one pic that i really love. i think it speaks volumes, LOL. so must post.

anyway, i caught The Incredible Hulk and Wanted. the hulk's alright, but Wanted rockedddddd. i so love such movies, wahahaha. and i love angelina jolie. she's always landing the roles that are super hot, super cool, and bad but with a sense of righteousness in the end. that last bullet she shot, i loved the scene, muahahaha.

other than that i've also kbox-ed twice since returning from taiwan. o.O i still have my voice though! =DD

I AM BACK FROM TAIWAN!!!! =D

wahahaha. it is such a funnnnn trip. it's really different going on overseas trips with friends. cuz everyone does everything together and tries all the weirdest stuff. anyway i lugged one stuffed luggage and 2 other boxes of purchases back. o.O but quite alot of them are gifts for people okayyy. =D

and i think we really need to thank our "carers" over there. they provide lodgings, toiletries, transport, and breakfast every morning!! they give in to our every demand, really. they even helped us box up our purchases. or else i really dont know how we're gonna bring everything back. wahaha.

it's such a detailed-full trip that i cant possibly blog everything out. so i shall just talk about the highlights. LOL.

Day 1: reached taiwan at 5+ in the afternoon. it was raining and there was a jam from the airport. we were hungry too. after about an hour plus we finally reached this buffet restaurant. eat until damn shuang lahhh. LOL. the food was not bad too. after that we shopped for a little while at some small night market. i tried my first bite of pig's blood cake. i almost puked!! forced myself very hard to swallow it. one word: YUCK.

Day 2: we went to visit this lane that's specially filled with those pottery shops. it was a pretty boring part of the trip actually, LOL. after that we went to jiu fen to shop around. there was alot of food to buy!! i bought sour plums, muah chee, biscuits, and some little gifts as well. but the bad thing about jiu fen is that there was this horrible stench coming from some mutton smell. i almost puked 3 times!!! gahhhh. it's the worst smell i ever smelt. EEYUCKKK. oh we also had tea at this traditional tea place. the tea smells pretty nice!! haha. after that we went to jilong night market to shop. it was a pretty small night market though.

Day 3: went to ximending to shop!! damn alot of things to buy. i bought alot of clothes!! we had soooo many bags at the end of it, and mind you, it was ONLY from ximending. after that we placed our purchases in lockers at a train station and went to wufenpu to continue shopping. bought alot of stuff as well. i bought shirts for my mom/sis too, LOL. after that we went to raohe to shop. it wasnt very big either lol. oh and it was my bday!! angie nicole queenie and jacq bought a cake for me! heh so sweet of them. =DD

Day 4: we visited national taiwan university!! tai da for short. the son of our carers and his classmates brought us around. one of them is named bagus and he sneaked us into his lab, lecture theatre, and his dorm!! coolios. oh and he sings really well hahaha. another guy is some czech republic national. both jacq and i think he's quite cute. muahahaha. we went to shop at taipei main station's underground mall too, but there isnt much there. that night we went to shilin!! mann shilin is great!! got loads of stuff there, and good food too!! i ate oyster-egg, something i used to think was darn smelly. LOL. we ate the famous fried chicken too, but i hate the fact that they dont remove bones. -.-

Day 5: we went back to ximending and wufenpu to finish shopping, LOL. cuz one day just isnt enough luhh. bought alot of things too. my legs felt like they were gonna break. -.- oh we also saw some celebrities at ximending cuz they happened to have some event there. we also went to shida night market. i thought it was not bad too.

Day 6: my favourite day!! we went to leofoo village, the theme park place. we all had our own fears. i was okay with viking and those overturn rides, but i was damn scared of the vertical drop ride lahhh. when the ride ended i just burst into tears, LOL. i know, lousy right. but really damn scary man. the water rides were fun. and my favourite ride was the screaming condor. it's just this ride that suspends you damn high in the air then rush down at a freakin high speed. damnnnn shuang. wahaha. we went back to shilin to shop after that. cuz it was the last day so everybody just kept spending money. buy until damn shuang wahahaha. ANDDDD. i actually ate the smelly toufu. it was the worst thing i ever tasted. smelly like hell man!! lol.

Day 7: last day! we went to carrefour to shop for pao mian, cuz taiwan pao mian all damn nice one lol. bought a whole boxful of food back!! hahaha. short day cuz we had to rush to the airport. my mom was so astounded to see how much stuff i brought back lahh. hahaha.

anyway taiwan is really fantabulous. maybe the "going with friends" experience made it all the more fun. we have loadssss of pics!! slowly upload, LOL.

today is a real boring day.

had to settle all those admissions stuff that ntu mailed over. bahh. oh, and to pack my luggage for taiwan too. i cant believe, we'll be off in 2 days' time!! =D

thus i decided to blog a little to ease the boredom.

firstly, i love my new blogskin! heh. i love changing blogskins, it's always so exciting, LOLOLOL.

secondly, i got pics!! hahaha. not all of those taken at the party yet though, shall post those at one go when i receive all. shall post other random ones first, keke.

this weekend had been an interesting one.

friday.
zhiyuan came over for a sleepover. just for fun, since the parents were out of town. we dug up all the old stuff i kept under the bed and read them. it was really interesting. mostly we read the postcards jenny/liyin wrote me. WAHAHAHA. to liyin: all your little old secrets are exposed now!! LOL. oh we also rented a dvd to watch. we watched Escape to Huang Shi, some movie that i wanted to watch when it was screening but nobody else had the interest. lol. we both thought the movie was pretty nice though!! same weird taste, hahaha.

saturday.
zhiyuan had to go back to camp, so after he got off work i went over to his place to prepare for my birthday party!! hahaha. though the actual birthday's not till the 20th, but by then i'll be in taiwan. anyway we bummed around till 6++ when his friend zhongxian, who just got his driving license a day ago, came over to pick us up. there were two other friends of zhiyuan's who joined us, dency and kirby.

well anyway, it was an interesting ride. the engine stalled twice and there was this classic U-turn zhongxian made that was just.... classic. you have to be in the car to know how classic it truly is, LOL. had a hard time finding a parking lot, but in the end we reached the place safely.

the party was wonderful! though it was pretty awkward cuz everybody there didnt know everybody, but still, i loved it! =)

of course, for such an event, there must be a THANKYOU list. so here goes:

thank you zhongxian dency and kirby for being there and for the ride!!

thank you changtai for the effort in storing the cake and bringing it down to pasir ris all the way from ang mo kio!! fyi, the cake was a huge strawberry cake that couldnt fit into changtai's fridge. LOL. i love the cake though!! it's pretty and yummy heh. that was a really nice move on changtai's part, lololol. a kbox treat next time!! =D

thank you daniel and joey and the rest of the 06/06 guys for the really interesting shoelaces/belt present!! though i dont exactly know what it symbolizes, but thanks!! hahaha.

thank you huimin huiyi maggie and patrick for the jodi picoult book!!!!!! I SO LOVE IT. it's such a thoughtful present! there was even a card that said "we all know how much you love to read, so here's a novel from us to you!" LOL. rocking. and you even got me a JODI PICOULT book, i love!! ohh and thanks for the necklace and the king peter postcard as well! (i so know king peter postcard was huimin's idea, you know me well, WAHAHAHA.)

thank you jacq angie queenie and nicole for the black and green havaianas!! i've been wanting it since forever =DD

thank you jenny for the really pretty wooden block gift!!!! i really like it vvvvv much, especially the part where you cut and pasted every single letter of THAT sentence, LOL. it cracks me up, though i think it depicts YOU alot better. you're a clique with shrek barney and wally arent you.

okay. now for this big huge thank you.
THANK YOUUUUUU YVETTE YEO LIYIN, for basically EVERYTHING. the entire planning process, scouting for a place, deciding the menu, the decorations, the calling up of the guest list, the coordination of everyone. you rock my socks girl, you do!! thank you for the pretty flower gift too!! i love it, and i love you! =))

THANK YOUUUUU MY BESTEST BF IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD. for the really nice 0.06 carat necklace(LOL), for the yummy cake, for being there with me every step of the way, for making everything seem so perfect for me everytime, and for being you.(okay admittedly this hasnt entirely got to do with the party, but whatever, i shall write what i want, LOLOL.) =))

well anyway after the party i went over to zhiyuan's place to stay over. it's such a loooong journey from the east to the west. -.-

sunday.
(which is today)
woke up at 6am to go bird watching with zhiyuan and his family AND his family friends. there were like alot of people, all avid bird watchers. well watching the birds was interesting, something nice to do occasionally, but no, it'll never become a hobby for me, just like how i'll never take to fishing.

there was ching hao(at least that's how i think his name is spelt), who's zhiyuan's childhood friend. he's really interesting. it was funny hearing them talk about those uber crap stuff, like the dragonbird. -.- it still cracks me up. LOL.

anyway after bird watching, the adults headed off to watch badminton tournament while chinghao, his sister, zhiyuan, his brother and me went home. chinghao drove, and along the way, we missed an exit on SLE. headed straight to the customs, where the queue was HELLLLL long. not wanting to wait, we crazily cut everyone's queue with chinghao muttering "stop staring at me i'm not cutting your queue, i just want to U-turn..." to himself. just for a stupid U-turn, we had to wait for clearance from so many people and hand in identifications. -.- what an adventure, really. we were all crapping to keep ourselves entertained while waiting for those procedures to be over.

FINALLY. i got to go home at around 4pm. bahhhh. tired tired. handed my dad his present, he seems to really like it. whew. =D

oh well. happy father's day people!! =)))

my laptop is seriously the slowest poke on earth. if it were human, i would have slapped it 1000000000 times already. but sadly, it is but ONLY a retarded gadget. no use getting angry with it, waste of energy. BAHHH.
