i am blogging from hall!

yes i've officially moved in. been living here for almost a week already. with my smelly roomie, jacqten. LOL.(okay i think i'm smellier.)

supposed to be at hall camp, but i've been ponning it since the first day, wahah. been really busy with my pageant stuff! and it's really tiring to keep travelling and leaving camp halfway, so i decided i might as well just pon the whole thing. i already paid though, sighs. hope they'll still give me the camp shirt. =( i've been wasting so much money on camps that i end up not attending.

but anyway, I LOVE MY ROOM. after listening to complaints from other hall residents about cockroaches, bird-shit filled windows, cobwebs, dead insects, weird smells... i think we're damn lucky to get this hall lah. the air con is one huge perk, and cuz it's new, it's really clean here as well. and i kinda know my way around ntu now. i bring my map around EVERYWHERE i go, yes, i mean EVERYWHERE. everyone laughs at me and says i'm being a little too extreme, but they havent tried living their lives losing their way even when they're just coming out from the toilet. the first time i moved into hall, i couldnt find my way back to my room after going to the toilet. and yes, the toilet's on the same floor. thus, i have to say, you people DONT understand my desperate need for a map. -.-

enough about hall.

i am so enjoying life as a pageant girl, WAHAHA. i so love photoshoots. everything was done really professionally and all. the makeup and hairstyles rocked. and although it was awkward doing those poses cuz i totally have no experience, it was still fun. it's like doing something entirely new. and you get to meet really talented makeup people and learn application techniques and colour matching from them. you get to wear REALLY expensive clothes too. you learn catwalk, you meet pretty people, you get to LOOK pretty...etc LOL omg i'm sounding like a bimbo. oh and we did videoshoot as well. we have an introduction thing whereby we have to do the usual "vote-for-me" speech, a couple segment where we have to play a certain sport with our partners(mine was soccer and it was disastrous cuz i had no ball sense), a group catwalk with a formation and a couple catwalk. it was really tiring, but damn fun.

but most of all, i love the new friends making part. maybe cuz we are all from nbs, so we can all click. the hall people is a different story altogether, lol. it's like they always understand what i'm trying to say and we often have the same opinions about alot of things. they're a really fun bunch to hang out with.

okay. back to my displeasure with h*ll c*mp.

i think it's just my bad luck to kana this og. but really, the people are super weird, especially the guys.

1. they are ugly.
2. they are always laughing at their own super not funny jokes.
3. they are very perverted. they keep coming up with cheers that are damn gross and they all think it's funny when it's so super no standard.
4. they are stupid.
5. they are rejects from other camps.(i bet my last cent it's cuz they're ugly and weird.)
6. the things they talk about are super stupid, you cant have a logical conversation with them. but then this is linked to point 4, cant blame stupid people for saying stupid things.
7. this particular big-action guy slammed his elbow in my face during mass dance(yes they actually have mass dance -.-) and i hate his guts. plus he looks retarded.

and then there are the other factors like:

1. the games are kinda boring.
2. the seniors far pale in comparison to the nbs foc seniors. i so love nbs foc seniors. they are so dedicated, and they take such good care of you. the seniors here are kinda stupid as well, and they dont try to know you at all. they dont care if you're thirsty and if you're lost. they're just really boring. they dont try to talk to you either.(but then again if they talk to me i might just slap myself in frustration, so this might be a good thing.)

it's incomparable.
